Matthew Olde, Metrix Chief Executive
Matthew Olde and is responsible for driving the Metrix business as it seeks to secure growth opportunities in advanced metering. He is part of Mercury’s executive leadership team. Matthew has held a number of roles since joining Mercury in 2010, including General Manager Business Strategy and Solutions and as IPO Project Manager, responsible for overseeing the Company’s (then Mighty River Power) share market listing in May 2013. Matthew’s previous experience was in the investment banking industry in Auckland, Sydney and London with Deutsche Bank and ABN AMRO, predominantly providing corporate finance advice across a wide range of sectors.
Strategy and Development Manager
Tim has a broad range of experience in energy, telecommunications and service-based enterprise. With a background in new business, start-ups and commercial roles Tim has considerable experience in retail, metering and downstream technology innovation within the energy sector. As Business Transformation Manager Tim leads the delivery of Metrix’ major capital projects.
Damien has 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting roles across a broad range of industries including energy, media and healthcare in both New Zealand and the UK. With a background in Financial Management, Damien has lead the Metrix Finance function since 2010 overseeing financial management, planning and reporting activities.
Braam has a wide range of experience across the energy sector spanning over 16 years. He worked in the power industry in South Africa for 12 years, where he held senior roles in regulation, financial planning, project development and project execution (power generation and transmission networks). Braam joined Mighty River Power in 2010 where he gained further experience in project development and operations. He was appointed to the role of Operations Manager for Metrix in July 2014 and is responsible for all operational activities.
Assets and ICT Manager
Brendan was appointed to the role of ICT Manager for Metrix in July 2014 and is responsible for supply chain, strategic asset management, enterprise architecture and IT systems. Brendan has had over 18 years’ experience in operational and project roles across the finance, transport, IT and electricity industries in both New Zealand and Australia.
